La Papeterie Saint-Armand papermill in Montreal, Canada, made the text paper, which is Linen Wrapper, and the Greek Umbrella cover paper. The mirror was made at the Press using plastic tubing and reflective polymer. The portfolio box was made at Foolscap Bindery and is covered in Japanese cloth. The edition is limited to 120 numbered copies plus 30 copies hors de commerce numbered i-xxx, signed by the author and artist ..."--Colophon
  • "The art on this portfolio box is an original woodcut by Aaron Johnson. It is done in a form called anamorphic art ... Aaron Johnson's woodcut ... casts the viewer into an active role in relation to the art and, most important for the story, it allows the image freedom of movement. The image may be viewed by removing the mirrored cylinder from its elastic stays and standing it on end within the printed circle on the woodcut. The "corrected" image can then be seen reflected in the mirror. The woodcut, handprinted by Aaron Johnson at Foolscap Press, is limited to 150 copies, signed by the artist."--Bottom of portfolio box
  • Letterpress printed artist's book sewn in 3 signatures into ridged paper wrapper. Long-stitch exposed on the spine. Paper oak leaves collaged on verso of text pages. Issued in a cloth-covered portfolio box with an original woodcut illustration in anomorphic art form attached to one side; a mirror made of plastic tubing and reflective polymer to view the woodcut attached to center of box spine
